I live!!!

It has been awhile...

9 months if Blogger is correct. Dang gone!

I had to take some time and do some real soul searching. (Yes, I know it is a way over used cliche, but it's true.) I had the luxury of being able to step back from a lot of things, slow down, and really reevaluate things. (One up side of the awful economy!) I put my computer in a box, did lots of yoga, and swore off anything with a delicious deep-fried shell. I feel renewed and ready to take on anything. (I have even reached a polite ceasefire with the leader of peaches in Dole, their native land.)

Unfortunately for this blog, I had given up on it. I had really worked myself into a corner last year. In my mind, this blog wasn't really going anywhere. The post quality was fading, and I had lost my voice and point of view.

Spake With Twang started out just as a personal blog for me, and it turned into something of a crazy sort of thing. I look back now and I have no idea why I wrote half of these articles. (I mean, I'm a bit off, but DANG! People need to pull me aside sometimes.)

So from now on, this is going to go back to being my personal blog. It's not a 'how-to' resource, a gardening site, a cooking site, or even a 5-speed bread machine. It just my personal blog.
