Obsessed! Series Introduction

So, as you may have read with another new post on this site, I am attempting a new direction for this blog by doing categorical posting.

I feel that putting the posts into categories will make it easier to navigate, find what you need, and will help me to be more organized. (And if it doesn't, I'll go back to the old way, and deny I ever attempted this! Ha!)

Series that I am positive on: Personal Growth (as posted before), Humor (random jokes and comic I come across), Gardening, Knitting, Poetry, Procrastination Fuel, and many more that I have yet to think of clever names for.

I bring you the intro to the newest one in the works; OBSESSED!

Well, at the urges of some of my peers. I have decided that I will do a series on some of my strange obsessions. (Label will be: Obsessed) These are things that if you didn't know me, you would think that I belonged on 48 hours, Dateline, or in the loony bin.

Why do posts on obsessions? I believe that it will aid the general public in that those that read it will feel more normal. Either because they share my love of weird obsessions, or because they think I'm 3 crayons short of a sharpener pack. (Dang, now I want to color! heh)

Or more, simply, I am obsessed enough to write blog posts about them and do research on them. Ha!

Some posts to look forward to: Numbers' Significance, Planets: The Non-Scientific Significance, Owls, Chinese English China, Cults, Crime Shows, Odd Stationary, Totem Animals, Five Gallon Buckets, Stonewall Jackson, Abnormal Psychology, and etc.

I'll stop now before I get into the weirder stuff. I intend to do in-depth pages with histories, video, etc. (I told you I was obsessed!)

Look forward to it,
And smash a peach,
Jenn

Love it! We all have things we get obsessed about--and yes, hearing about other peoples' obsessions does help to feel more normal. The other method is to simply call things your "passion". For example, you could say: "hating peaches is my passion" instead of "I am totally obsessed with hating peaches". Words make all the difference. - Adam :)

Thanks so much for that! -makes a note- Let's try this, "I have an INTENSE, UNRELENTING, and characteristically ODD Passion for hating peaches!" I love it! I even partially forgive your peach consumption. (HA!)
