So, my poor blog has suffered as of late because the busy troll has been kickin' 'em back under my bridge. (Does that make me "Jenn goat's gruff"?) Also, the server people (I do not speak techy smarty computer lingo) messed up my site and it has finally been fixed. (Yay!! yay. yay...)
I really do have about 10 blog posts queued up. (half written, mind you, but well intentioned) They are on the horizon, because I JUST FINISHED MY LAST FINAL 10 MINUTES AGO!!! (Just a little excited...)
Let me back up...when I say final, yes, I mean I'm in the midst of something I said that I would never do again...GO BACK TO SCHOOL. I am just doing some "post-grad supplemental courses," but, shoo man, my butt is getting kicked!
Let me back up some more. Over the summer while desperately searching for employment, I decided to go back to school to learn Spanish (yes, I finally gave in) and take a few classes that I didn't get to take during my time at UT. (Don't even get me started on that beepity beep beep school! grrr.) Now, I am at the community college from which I started five years ago taking classes. (Did anyone say cheaper? Cheaper. Cheaper!)
So I finally got somewhat settled back into student life. (Well, if doing things last minute, and somehow pulling A's out of my orifices is settling back.) THEN, I WAS HIRED! (I know, I was shocked too.) So I went from bumming at home and at leisure to delve into my hobbies to: full time job, full time school, and...the holidays. It has been crazy. I get up at 3:30am in the morning and don't return home until after classes at about 9pm or 10pm. Rough stuff, my friend, rough. (AKA. no blog entries as of late, because sleep is my first love, or what little bit of sleep I get is my first love.)
I'm lucky to get this one in. I am waiting on my friend (who is taking another final) to finish so we can go chill. (Literally, it's frickin' cold and spittin' ice and rain out there.) But I'm hungry. And like every good southern should, I will wait and travel above and beyond for some great cookin'.
Now that I am on winter break (that's right I am going back next semester...ugh), I hope I can give this blog (and my web page and photography) some much needed attention.
